Michael Tcheyan is President of Investment Strategy Advisors Inc. and studied art with Mercedes Matter and Philip Guston at the New York Studio School in the early ’70s. He served on the board of the New Jersey Center for Visual Arts and is past president of the Mayor’s Partnership for the Arts in Summit, New Jersey. He is cochair of the New York Studio School’s Alumni Association.

Michael Tcheyan, Founder


Alla Broeksmit was born in Ukraine. After emigrating from the Soviet Union, she began to approach art more deliberately, first practicing life drawing and then enrolling in formal art training at Parsons School of Design in New York City. Moving to London in 1997, she co-founded the Lots Road Group with fellow artists from the Heatherley School of Fine Art, Chelsea. In 2017, she received her Master of Fine Arts degree from the New York Studio School, with further studies at the Slade School of Fine Art, London. She is on the advisory boards of The New York Studio School, the Farnsworth Art Museum and the Overbrook Foundation.

Prior to working with BOOM Contemporary Gallery, Rachel Sharp curated numerous exhibitions in the UK for the Wall North Contemporary Gallery, BALTIC Centre for Contemporary Art, and Gallery North. She completed her undergraduate studies at Franklin College as a Presidential Scholar and The New York Studio School where she received the Arthur B Carles Award for Painting. She also earned a First Class Honours BA Degree in Religous Studies from the Open University. She earned her Fine Art MA from Northumbria University.
